Dance & Fitness

Hi, I'm Terasa, I own and run Empower Dance & Fitness Studio.

I have been dancing and competing as a Ballroom/Latin dancer since the age of 6. During my years as a competitor I represented Ireland worldwide, from the World Ballroom Championship in Tokyo, to the World Latin Championships in Miami, Germany, Italy, Austria, and Canada.

Zumba Fitness

Zumba is a fun way to achieve fitness. If you don't like going to the gym, this is for you. Time just flies when you are having fun - you sweat, lose yourself in exotic rhythms, learn new dance routines, and before you know it, your fitness levels rise and your energy soars.

At Empower Dance and fitness, we have a very friendly club atmosphere that makes getting fit much fun. Empower Zumba has so much more.

Burlesque Heels

Each class teaches Sexy Dance technique in heels while challenging the body to have more flexibility and balance.

Women are encouraged to take this class to build self-esteem to be sexy in a free environment.

About Me

I don't really like talking about myself - it somehow feels vain, and that's just not me. But I was advised to do so as it will allow people to have confidence in my expertise. So here it is…

I am a Certified Ballroom/Latin teacher with the IDSF since 1999. I have trained and entered numerous children and adults into competitions around Ireland and abroad. I have also appeared and danced in films, including the Walt Disney production of Ella Enchanted.

I have been a qualified fitness instructor with the N.T.C. since 2003 and have worked in gyms around Dublin. I have been a certified Zumba teacher since 2010, running my own classes throughout Dublin.

I love taking people under my wing, helping them enjoy the classes while gaining fitness. There is nothing better for me than to see my pupils achieve their own personal goals. This is how I measure the success of my classes.
