Russ Howe PTI gave me permission to share this video. He talks for about 5 minutes on HiiT . He dispels a few myths and explains very simply some of the benefits versus the sacrifices. It is important to know why 'Empower' adapt certain fitness regimes over others. We adapt the techniques which work, are simple in their delivery, and usually don't need special equipment (gimmicks, or the latest fad.). Hiit has been around for about 40 years. It was a very specialised form of training reserved for elite athletes only. Further development through study and tests has made it available to all. HiiT is one of my favourite classes. Calling it fun is not really a honest discription, I would say however it is the most effective and result oriented training I have ever encountered. Enjoy the videos .
